Hi Sinead, welcome to Liffey Valley Style HQ! Thank you for taking the time to talk to us.

Let’s begin….

1. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Every Thursday my Mam would collect us from school and bring us to visit our Nanny. My Nanny lived in the City Centre, so we would always end up going across town to shop. I loved going around the shops with them and we nearly always finished off our evening with a cup of tea and a cake! My love of shopping was 100% nurtured during these Thursdays. My Mam, Nanny and myself actually went to Liffey Valley together the very first night it opened!

3. What advice would you give to our Mummy followers?

Trust your gut. There really is nothing more powerful than a mother’s gut instinct and while there are many people who have good advice to give us, you know your child better than anyone else and you know what is best for them.

4. What achievement are you most proud of?

Surviving the first 12 months as a new mom! I don’t think anything can prepare you for becoming a mother for the first time. It is such a roller-coaster and you’re doing it all on hardly any sleep. However, looking back on those months, I know I did a good job!

5. What would you tell your 16 year old self?

Be kind to your parents! God love my mam and Dad, I gave them heartache as a teenager. I was the prime example of street angle and house devil. It is only with age that I can see my parents were not trying to ruin my life by not letting me go to Wesley every week .They were and still are incredible. They did everything the could to make sure that we had the best start to our adult life and I wish I was a little kinder as a teenager!
